According to Newzoo, game streams will rack up almost 800m viewers in 2021, which is a projected 10 percent from last year. inSTREAMLY also notes, via a press release, that the size of the market makes it difficult to execute sponsorship deals. Due to this, the company says it aims to make it possible for smaller streamers to have branded content on their streams and monetising the content.

Wiktoria Wójcik, co-founder of inSTREAMLY, commented: “I personally know how life-changing it can be for a small streamer to get their first revenue from streaming. It makes you believe that you can turn your passion into a career. With the new funds, we will be accelerating our expansion to new markets and aim to deliver the best opportunities to streamers worldwide.”

Through the platform’s ‘micro-sponsorships’, inSTREAMLY has claimed to have helped over 15,000 European streamers earn income by connecting them with brands such as Netflix, Samsung, Porsche, or Adidas.

Krzysztof Tokarski, Managing Director at PKO VC, added: “Media agencies and large brands are currently facing difficulties in building a sales message that would be engaging for Generation Z. inSTREAMLY fills this gap. The value of the Company is built for all current shareholders, and we believe it will be a part of inSTREAMLY global success.”

Esports Insider says: It’s not easy to begin a career in streaming, but platforms like inSTREAMLY are helpful in providing a tangible income to smaller streamers. This investment helps inSTREAMLY continue its development in the esports sponsorship market, which is getting more saturated by the day.
